Tickets will be mailed you via USPS. The raffle winner will be drawn at Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute on December 22nd at high noon. This fundraiser will raise funds for the Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute. Tickets are 1/$5 or 5/$20 (discount we be applied in the cart).
The Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute is launching a fundraiser raffle featuring a handmade guitar made by professional luthier Gary Zimnicki and Jeffrey Kline. Ticket sales will begin on Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024.
Gary Zimnicki is a world renowned luthier (Guitar maker) from Allen Park, MI. Gary has been building guitars, mandolins and ukuleles since 1979. In 2011 he began crafting instruments from wood removed from houses in Detroit. These exceptional instruments pay tribute to the history of Detroit and the craftsmen who built the homes. The acoustic guitar to be raffled has a sitka spruce top and rosewood back and sides, with a triple O body style. It values over $4,000. It will also be on display at the Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute with tickets for sale at 1 for $5 or 5 for $20 (discount will be applied in cart).
